If you want to ask for support, you should follow the guidelines and provide a log file. However note that support for non-master builds won't probably be given here as I can't guess how non-master works, unless there's someone who knows and can help.

Running on "RPCS3 Version: 0.0.8-9365-aeed349a Alpha" here. Can't seem to get past the introductory logos.

The game boots and I get audio, but right after it loads up the Konami and Kojima logos it goes to a black screen and stays there. FPS counter moves, however. Last thing I have in my logs is:
U {PPU[0x100002b] Thread (HLE Video Decoder)} cellVdec TODO: Interlaced frames not supported (0x1) x3

Tried upgrading/downgrading versions of the game, and can confirm this occurs regardless of whether I used ASMJIT or SPU LLVM, Vulkan or OpenGL. Darn shame.

When I boot this version of the game, for some reason it sets my monitor's refresh rate to 60. I can manually change it back to 144 but thought it was odd that it does this.

I can't seem to control anything when in the main menu, not sure why. Anyone else have this issue? I can provide the log if that will help.

Hi.The game works fine ,but I have a big problem.Game freeze ,crash on the tv scenes/intro cutscenes after click new game and select difficult.Any fix these problem? Sorry for my english Smile

Update: I was able to get ingame on the master branch. In the case of the black screen, pressing my cross, circle, square, and start button at various times ended up getting me to the title screen. Crashed just before displaying the titles themselves though.

Have you taken a look at your monitor display settings? It may be possible that there's some hidden setting for compatibility purposes that will force the monitor refresh rate to change depending on the application. Do you have any other games to test out this behaviour with?
