Hello everyone,
I’m having trouble getting my standard controller to work properly with Guitar Hero World Tour and ahead (Metallica, Warriors of Rock, etc) on RPCS3.
When I set the device type to "Guitar Hero" in RPCS3, the game recognizes the button presses on my controller, but they don’t perform the intended actions within the game. The color-coded notes on the screen light up correctly when I press the buttons, but the game doesn’t register the inputs correctly.
I'm using a generic standard gamepad (dualshock), RPCS3 Version: 0.0.32-16699-3ab89221 for Windows 11 Home.
I’ve tried the following troubleshooting steps without success:
• Re-mapped the buttons in Config/Pad settings.
• Tested different configurations for XInput and SDL.
• Updated RPCS3 to the latest version.
• Checked the game’s in-game settings for controller configuration and calibration.
Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a workaround? Any advice or steps to resolve this would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
