Hello.

I was attempting to launch Call of Duty: Black Ops II today, but for some reason, it freezes whenever it "finishes" building the SPU Cache. In this provided imgur link, the screenshot shown is what I was looking at for several minutes before I closed the program. I'm not sure why this happens, though I theorize that my hardware may be too weak.

My hardware, for reference from RPC3's logs: 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-12450H | 12 Threads | 15.71 GiB RAM | TSC: 2.496GHz | AVX+ | FMA3

If I can please have an explanation as to why this is happening, and any potential solutions, I would appreciate that greatly.

If the attachment doesn't appear, here is a Google Drive link to the logs.

Using several non-default settings that are also not listed in the wiki. Why?
    Desktop: Ryzen 7 5800X,   Radeon RX 6800 XT, 2x8G DDR4 3600MHz, Manjaro Linux
     Laptop: Ryzen 9 5900HX,  Radeon RX 6700M,   2x8G DDR4 3200MHz, Manjaro Linux
Old Desktop: AMD FX-8350,     Radeon R9 280X,    2x4G DDR3 1600MHz, Manjaro Linux

Thank you for the response.

I made a new config that doesn't change anything besides the two suggested on the wiki, as well as changing the Shader Quality setting to Low, and the result was a black screen for several seconds before closing the program again. You can see in the provided imgur link everything else remains untouched besides the aforementioned settings that I changed.

(Providing logs once again if the attachment doesn't work)

EDIT: fixed imgur link

Looks like your game dump is corrupted, from the game's own console output:

Startup text:Fastfile for zone 'code_post_gfx' is corrupt or unreadable.
Patch boot.
INSTALL: Checking for /dev_bdvd/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/english/install.ipak...
Sys_Error: Fastfile for zone 'code_post_gfx' is corrupt or unreadable.
Sys_Quit done

Validate your dump
