Hello,

is there a way to disable the "Compiling PPU Modules" message in the bottom left corner when i load a game? It appeared not long ago (i'm always using the last master build) and i couldn't find a way to get rid of it Sad
thx

I would very much like to see this option also. I can understand if you don't want to make it an option in the gui, but maby you can make it possiblte to disable it in the ini file. I want to mimic a true PS3 experience when I emulate games and this kind of ruins that experience.

Are you sure you don't mean compiling shaders? You can disable that hint in the Emulator tab of the settings by enabling 'Disable shader compilation hint'

Nope. That's a new "hint". And it really ruins a true ps3 experience Smile

I don't like it. It makes the emulator look like an iphone. Aside from hating Macintosh, I dislike load rings and hourglasses in general, especially when they appear needlessly, or make the interface look busier than it needs to look.

The alternative of turning of native interface is very pepega also. Nobody wants to press alt+tab to access their save files in a seperate window. That's a very clumsy interface.

Nobody wanted the compiling shaders notification, and it seems some of us don't want the PPU module notification that appears in-game either.

Why would anyone want their emulator to look like an NPC meme, anyway?

This was pretty easy to add as a setting specially since the toggeable behaviour already exists for shaders, the project is open source so someone could have sent the change for review it a long time ago if they wanted it...
Either way, I included it on my PR https://github.com/RPCS3/rpcs3/pull/14005 together with other settings I wanted to change
