I've downloaded and attempted to run RPCS3 for the first time on a machine I know exceeds the recommended requirements. All drivers are confirmed to be up to date, as is the OS.
It flickers onto my taskbar and disappears, and Task Manager does not show it running in the background.
I found the error by looking at the problem report(something I didn't know existed until today).
I've attached the RPCS3 log file, the text of the problem report, and a screenshot of the file structure, along with the DXDiag output file.

I feel like I'm missing something simple.

System specs:
CPU -Ryzen 5 5600X
MB - Asrock X570Phantom Gaming 4 Wifi
RAM - 32GB DDR4
GPU - RX6700XT 12GB
PSU - Asus Strix 850W

Idle temps around 40 C

What if you uninstall this Graphics Adapter? It could be conflicting with the AMD driver registry, it seems something is interfering with the vulkan-1.dll

You can use DDU to do a full driver reinstall and then grab latest from AMD website?
Alternatively, you can try to install Vulkan Runtime from the LunarG website.

Did things in this order: uninstall spacedesk, run DDU, restart, install AMD drivers, restart, clear remaining bits of spacedesk off the registry, restart, ran the Vulkan RT installer.
There was no change in behavior.

Then it's very likely one of these layers on " Vulkan registration information" are broken but are not on our list of known broken layers
I would guess either "RTSS Overlay", "Rockstar Games Social Club" or "Steam Overlay"

Welp, I found the issue by running vulkaninfo.exe from the command line.
It said Agaue Eye was causing it problems.
Uninstalled the offending program, and RPCS3 is up and running normally! Smile

Thanks for your help. Smile
