Got my Steam Deck last week and have been setting up EmuDeck on it and included RPCS3 as part of that.
I jumped straight on dropping a few ROMs into the ROMs folder but the games weren't running or wouldn't run at all. I have since learned that not all games are compatible and to check the compatibility list and as a test downloaded a known working game just to make sure i knew the emulator was in fact working correctly, all good and i know now going forward.
My question is regarding the emulator itself then and it development, up until last week i wasn't even aware of RPCS3. Is it something that is constantly updated and is there a chance my games will work down the line with updates or is there a particular type of game that will just never work. Does compatibility change depending on the hardware, the deck wont run it but my PC would for example
