TLDR: Emulator will crash within 60 seconds of use usually resulting in a deadlocked thread.
I have been using RPCS3 and it's not exactly uncommon for it to freeze but I can usually get a few hours of use in between freezes which I am happy with. However, now it will freeze after a couple of seconds of run time and a majority of the time has a deadlocked thread. This occurred after updating to one of the most recent releases of RPCS3. Unfortunately, it was unusable so I tried an older build (RPCS3 0.0.16-12422) and it works for about 30min-2hrs before freezing but never has a deadlocked thread. Later on, I decided to delete all of the newest build files (RPCS3 0.0.16-12431) and try redownloading to run it again. This worked for about 6 hours of continuous use before it froze. After the first freeze, the emulator would freeze quicker and quicker to the point where you get less than a few seconds of run time.
For clarification, both zip files are using the most up-to-date build at the time of writing (RPCS3 0.0.16-12431). The file labeled old are the logs prior to me deleting and redownloading the newest build. The file named new is the logs from the redownloaded build.
I plan to continue using the older build as it works for me well enough, but I decided to post to hopefully help the developers.
