RPCS3 v0.0.14-11605-b96864c7 Alpha | HEAD | Firmware version: 4.87
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor | 16 Threads | 31.93 GiB RAM | TSC: 3.800GHz | AVX+ | FMA3
Operating system: Windows, Major: 10, Minor: 0, Build: 19041, Service Pack: none, Compatibility mode: 0
RSX: Found vulkan-compatible GPU: 'GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER' running on driver 460.79.0.0

Status: Ingame

Intro video plays just fine, 60fps on menus. Songs can take quite a while to load (up to about 15 seconds)
I only have a Guitar to test with, but it was playing at a locked 60fps. Band instruments were glitching out (guitar was disappearing, microphone not where it should be), and it honestly didn't really feel like a locked 60fps, despite the FPS counter stating otherwise.
I verified my dump to be OK, but it seems to crash whenever you go into practice mode.
DLC songs seem to work OK, loaded up 2112 and was able to play it just fine (until I failed out lol)

Write Color Buffers is on, otherwise default settings.

If you want better loading times, try out 0.0.10-10488-f4ec28d9 Alpha  <-- Works "ok" with my 3570 CPU

With your CPU you can prolly use costly settings that gives better result (might fix the guitars/mics graphical issues).

EDIT: Rebsters info below is correct regarding loadingtimes (great info!) and also the "teleporting" instruments. Not sure if it was just as bad on some PS3 models or if it's even worse during emulation but it was a problem.

To fix the long song load times issue, you can set your Network status to connected. This also makes it so dlc song recommendations show up in your library (but they can be turned off in the filter menu.)

The issue of stuttering despite a solid framerate, at least for me, was caused by screen tearing. Because of the consistent vertical scroll of the note highways it made the tearing really obvious and distracting. Using VSync on a 60Hz display fixed this but also added masses of input delay. However on my high refresh rate display I couldn't get VSync to work at all.

As for the teleporting instruments and practise mode crashes. Those were already issues on original hardware, although they weren't as bad and they didn't seem to effect the fat PS3 just the slim and super slim.

Yo when did the drum support get so good.
I haven't played the game in a few months and today when I booted it up,  without any config setup, my drum controller just worked.
As soon as the game launched the light comes on as player 3 and even the pressure sensitivity in the pads was working.
