rpcs3 version: 0.0.11-10619-05dc6ad6
Crashes with Vulkan, OpenGL works but has artifacts as seen in the image.

Everything I've read about it either suggested 4k mod or not increasing scaling, I didn't change the resolution (was running 720p, and actually set the monitor to 1280x720 on fullscreen so I wouldn't need scaling. also tested in windowed mode). Enabling strict rendering mode didn't make any difference.

Thanks for your time.

Use Vulkan, provide log from crash

No idea what's wrong with OpenGL there though

I thought I attached both logs to the original post. Here's a link: https://mega.nz/file/VRFW2IIQ#9b0JAQQamN...oJiSsIuskA

You're using ancient GPU drivers, also explains OpenGL issues. I'm surprised you can even use that GPU with drivers that old.

In that case, I'm terribly sorry for bothering you. I did see the part about driver updates in the "how to ask for help guide", But assumed it was up to date when the amd app said it is.

I find their driver download page terribly confusing especially since the auto-detect says your os is unsupported. (While windows 8.1's EOL is January 2023)
I will report back when I managed to update it to say if that fixed it or not.

Thanks for your time.

I just managed to update it with great difficulty (apparently there is no installer for version 20 despite it working perfectly fine on win 8.1), and it runs with Vulkan. I haven't noticed any artifacts so far.

For future reference (in case someone else hit here), I used this to update the driver: https://community.amd.com/thread/246796
I had to run the win 7 installer, then press close when it said my os is not supported, then tell device manager where it extracted its files so it can install it anyway. Because apparently windows 7 is newer than 8.1, so it should get updates while 8.1 doesn't...

Sorry again for wasting your time on user error.
