I got Lair since my daughter wanted to play some dragon flying game.
I have the original media and Sony firmware setup, and RPCS3 *does* play this disc. I hear audio, and can select Start from the menu.
After selecting Start, it looks like some kind of difficulty or zone selection. We mash Circle and it seems to go to the next selection, but it gets stuck there: 1/4th of the screen is animated showing some kind of map, while the remaining 3/4th of the screen is stuck on some "LAIR" selection screen. Every once in awhile, when the map side of the screen is panning around, I hear a dragon flapping wings sound.
But that's all we can do - can't actually play the game. Attached is what the last "play" screen we can get to looks like - the sound seems ok, the map side of the screen is animated (pans around, showing map and ocean), but we can't progress or exit the scene.
Has anyone executed Lair successfully with RPCS3? Are there specific settings to try? I thought on the compatibility list it said "Playable" - but does that just mean it gets past the initial booting sequence?
Thanks!
