ryzen 2600X?

I think it's not supposed to overheat, even with the stock cooler. The Wraith Spire (the cooler it comes with) is pretty decent. If you want to make sure, get some better thermal paste to replace the one that comes pre-applied.

Also, just in case, you don't need a X570 board for it, a B450 should do just fine, so whatever you picked for the 2600X should do just as well. Just keep in mind to look for those that say "Ryzen 3000 ready", since, otherwise, you need a previous gen CPU to replace the BIOS.

Thanks for the explanation. It's pretty complicated to understand all these things about chipset!
