Can I play with an I5-750 CPu?

hi I tried to use rpcs3 emulating god of war collection.
the game starts but is afflicted with lag, and the audio is distorted

this is my hardware

Intel I5 Quadcore 750 OC 3.2ghz
8 gb ram
R9 270X

Is there anything I can do or is the CPu too old?

You can play, but you will have massive lag, the CPU is too old

pc games even challenging ones (like AC origins or fifa) 18 game them though

there is nothing that I can do? no setting?

PC Games heavily rely on the GPU, one thing is completely unrelated to the other

I improved the thing considerably
putting the voice preffered spu therades on 1
