I just wanted to add that my bluray drive was able to read and dump a PS3 game. So I wasn't sure if you could add that to the list of drives able to read a PS3 game.

ASUS BW-12B1ST. I see the BC one listed, but not the BW.

I wanted to report that my BD drive is NOT accepting PS3 games.

Samsung Model: SE-506. Might be a driver or a Windows 10 piracy protection not sure but it's not working and I tried multiple games.

UPDATE: Sorry I found I had a defective USB cable. This drive does work with PS3 discs. I apologize for the confusion.

There's no such thing as "piracy protection", it's just a Blu-Ray disc
Can you see the files for your PS3 game in file explorer?

Make sure you're using your BD drive's latest firmware too.
    Desktop: Ryzen 7 5800X,   Radeon RX 6800 XT, 2x8G DDR4 3600MHz, Manjaro Linux
     Laptop: Ryzen 9 5900HX,  Radeon RX 6700M,   2x8G DDR4 3200MHz, Manjaro Linux
Old Desktop: AMD FX-8350,     Radeon R9 280X,    2x4G DDR3 1600MHz, Manjaro Linux

All set Ani,

My apologies, I had a defective USB cable.
Also I have updated my firmware to the level TS02 and it works fine.

I edited my previous post to eliminate any confusion.

Thanks.
