Im having problems on configurating a PS4 controller

Im trying to use my ps4 controller to play games, but when i go to the button config menu, i input any button but nothing works. I tried using DS4 Tool but no dice.
Can anyone help me please?

PadSettings is only for keyboard, if you wanna use DS4 you need to use a driver that can make it an Xinput device (for example http://ds4windows.com/ ) and you need to choose Xinput at Config -> Settings -> Input\Output -> Pad Handler
