Tried running here with the latest v0.0.0.6-4112-39bc897 build.
Doesn't load the video, I'll probably need to recompile video to MPEG.
AMD R9 280X here, I've heard about the issues with video outputting and AMD cards regarding RPCS3.

The AMD should be fixed. The original reporter of the issue has been contacted to confirm, if the issue is really fixed.
The latest 2 bigpet builds have the fix.

I downloaded the latest pre-release build from github and tested with it, and it didn't work for me.
I'm currently converting the m2a to mpeg AVI files to see if it works.

My config that just actually just worked (well, get random blacksreens somehow, I assume still because of the combination Chrome/RPCS3 and ram.):
Interpreter 2/fast
DX12/VSync/OpenAL
libavcdec cellFiber cellSpursJq cellSre libvdec

I tried HAT for myself with RPCS3 and I have bad news, my first attempts are worthless. Currently it´s not possible from my testing that text can be hooked. But it not like it isn´t working with RPCS3 at all. Got some luck with other games trough.

Aside that, I recently found out that HAT has some problems/improvements to be solved. Currently it´s not working for myself on Win10. Tested with Cheat Engines Hex viewer only, but no results after all. Maybe need to test more, but wanted to share it here.

Thanks for sharing. There might be some future to text hooking in RPCS3 then.

First I extracted .usm files with VGMToolBox. Then I re-encoded .m2v AVC video to MPEG .avi with ffmpeg. Re-encoded .hca audio to .wav with HCA_decoder. Then I used Scaleform VideoEncoder to pack it all up back to .usm

I can't get the Scaleform VideoEncoder to work (MPEG .avi and .wav files)

Couldn't attach the log to the previous post so

Running with the unmodified game, PPU Interpreter 2 and SPU Interpreter (fast), 1280x720, DX 12, D3D Adapter is a MSI TwinFrozr R9 280X 3G, VSync On.

With build 4112 libavcdec, cellFiber, cellSail, cellSailAvi, cellSpursJq, cellSre, libvdec:
Game doesn't start up at all
Code:
{PPU Thread[0x24] (CRI FS File Access 2)[0x0018340c]} HLE: Last function: cellFsRead (0x4d5ff8e2)
{PPU Thread[0x24] (CRI FS File Access 2)[0x0018340c]} Exception: Unknown Win32 error: 0x6f8.
(in file ..\Utilities\File.cpp:690, in function fs::file::read)
Please report this to the developers.

With build 4029 libavcdec, cellFiber, cellSail, cellSailAvi, cellSpursJq, cellSre, libvdec
Game starts up, and I'm getting a very bad video output (which I didn't get before, probably because I missed libavcdec or something) (seems like it's 1-2ish frames per second, sound outputting like 5% of each second of the video if not less).

Complete log attached in this post (RPCS3.zip with build 4112 and RPCS3_4029.zip with build 4029)

The old build includes some incorrect behaviours related to file handling. This was fixed and now an exception is thrown, if a fatal file handling error is encountered, so the actual rootcause of the problem can be fixed.

For the record, 0x6F8 is ERROR_INVALID_USER_BUFFER. We are aware of file reading problems related to cellFsRead.

I'd also like to add that now I'm getting 0x3C6 (ERROR_NOACCESS) instead of 0x6F8.
I commented over at the github issue related to this (#1463) at https://github.com/RPCS3/rpcs3/issues/1463
There's also a simillar issue at #1466 - https://github.com/RPCS3/rpcs3/issues/1466

Seems like we have to wait for a fix now xD

What's your graphics card and what's the build number?
There were/are some issues regarding AMD cards and rpcs3 video output, mine is one.

The AMD issues have been fixed. If anybody is able to find another discrepancy between AMD and Nvidia, then let us know.
Also make sure you both have same game IDs.
