God of War III [BCES00510]

Hi,
I played and finished this game and Ascension a couple of years ago on this version of RPCS3:
v0.0.24-14192-80d20340 Alpha | master
Firmware version: 4.89.
There was no stuttering, very few crashes, and it ran at 30-40 playable FPS.
However, since then, every newer version of RPCS3 has not handled the game as well as that version. There is stuttering and sound cracking from the very beginning of the intro videos and main menu.
I check every few versions to test newer updates but have had no luck.
The last version I tried was "v0.0.35-17645-7b212e0e Alpha | master" and "Firmware version: 4.92," a completely fresh install.
I also attempted to revert the firmware to that of the old version, but nothing changed.
Can someone tell me what's going on? I still play on the old version when I want to play Gow3, but after so much time, there should be some performance improvements.

Find the exact RPCS3 release version where the performance went down (using default settings) and file a regression report. Posting here won't change a damn thing, the developers don't read this forum.

For me performance is perfectly fine, but then again I don't use a six year old mobile processor...

got it; I will get to it Thanks. I know my CPU is weak, but GOW3 is very playable on it. However, Ascension… oof!
