Hello,

I have been using RPCS3 for a while now and am happy with the way it works. It has always updated correctly.

However, The update that came thru today ( rpcs3-v0.0.34-17118) crashes when I try to start it. Windows error cx0000142. Click OK to close.

I just downgraded to the previous days (rpcs3-0-0-34-17110) release and it starts up again.

I don't see the RPCS3.LOG file in the RPCS3 folder.

Googling that error returns a microsoft office error. Very strange.

Any Idea's ?

I am using an I9-13900k CPU and an Nvidia RTX4080 GPU

rpcs3-v0.0.34-17121 just came out.  The Issue still exists.
rpcs3-v 0.0.34-17133 Another update today. The issue still exists.

I tried Rpcs3 on a different machines and exactly the same error message. I tried it on a Dell Laptop with Windows 11 and an AMD GPU.

I ran RPCS3 from Windows Debug and it showed were the Memory Violation Error happened. When the app tries to open the opencv_world4100.dll Windows throws up an Error saying the Checksum for the DLL is invalid. I then downloaded the latest version of opencv_world4100.dll from the Net and overwrote the one supplied with versions after 114 of RPCS3 and the problem is solved. RPCS3 now starts up fine. There is another non critical error when RPCS3 starts but it keeps loading.

Maybe this is a a windows 11 problem.
