Attempted to boot using the following build: RPCS3 v0.0.32-16717-02aac2c5 Alpha | master

It shows the disclaimers and the developer's logo. then hangs to a black screen.

It doesn't do anything beyond out just ticking the FPS counter.

There is a problem with this game though, it reports itself as "Playable", because somehow it shares ID's with a Beyond: Two Souls related application... But this one ain't it

EDIT: Ran the same test with the OpenGL Backend. Same result. Attached OpenGL Log below.

IDs are supposed to be unique so this is quite annoying, I have to think how to handle this collision in our database, as this won't be added on update as-is due to the ID already existing

I figured as such. I am unsure if RPCS3 has an ID-based compatibility patching system for certain games, so if that is the case, it could make getting this prototype working somewhat harder. Supposedly this E3 demo is a retail-type build, and both the PSN networking beta seems to at least boot, despite being older.

I just checked. The prototype labeled "The First Playable" also shares ID NPEA00484

It kind of sort of makes sense for two prototypes of the same game to have the same ID.

However, how did it end up as one of the "Making Of" of Beyond: Two Souls? Now that's odd.

OK. Last edit for the time being. So, this "The First Playable" build, is... Surprisingly enough, actually playable. Given it already has an ID and it's shared with this prototype and that other applet... How do i even go around reporting it?

We are not logging prototypes for the time being.
Since this ID is tied to a prototype, the official ID is registered to the Beyond Two Souls featurettes installer, I will move this to general discussion.
