Hi all,
I'm trying to use a virtual camera software (FineCam) to stream an image as a webcam in RPCS3. However, my attempts at doing this have been unsuccessful. Although RPCS3 does recognize FineCam as a webcam under config>I/O>camera (as FineShare FineCam), when attempting to use the camera I'm given the error message:
'E CFG: The selected camera was not found. Selecting default camera as fallback.'
This message is given even when the virtual camera is enabled and streaming the image I want. I'm not sure how to get RPCS3 to 'find' the camera, especially since it recognizes the software in the config settings. When I load into the game and enable the camera, I'm met with a black screen of the webcam and the messages:
'U cellCamera TODO: cellCameraSetAttribute(dev_num=0, attrib=16=MIRRORFLAG, arg1=0, arg2=0)
E Camera: Received invalid video frame'
If any knows any way to do what I'm trying to do I would greatly appreciate some help. The virtual camera software doesn't have to be specifically FineCam, but that's the only one that RPCS3 has recognized so far (I've tried OBS and Streamlabs aswell). Thank you for any help.
