The game that I am trying to get the save file to work with is Hot Shots Golf Out Of Bounds(NPUA80765). I got a save file off of Gamefaqs which claimed to have all characters and courses unlocked.
I used Bruteforce Save data to decrypt it and unlock it to use with any account. I also had to change the region too which might also be a problem. The save is for the disc version, (BCUS98115). I switched it and the put the folder into the savedata.
The game loads and nothing has changed. I tried doing the process again. I followed a Youtube video which deleted two files in the folder, still nothing.
I'm stumped on what went wrong. I can only think of a few things,
1. Either the region change didn't work right.
2. The save is not really 100%
3. I need to have the game save at least once on a fresh save. There was no save file created in the first place.
4. I screwed up the process in Bruteforce.
If anyone has suggestions on what to do. Please tell me. I can try to answer questions too.
