Hey pepole this is my first post in the forums Big Grin . I come here to ask about a problem Im having emulating MGS 4

So I tried running the game but all Im getting after the ppu compiling thing is a black screen with the words "compiling shaders" on the bottom part. At first I thought that maybe this game being so big it might take a little longer on the first boot but I left it for a good 40 minutes to no avail. I noticed the cpu usage is constantly at 80 to 90 percent so it must be doing something but its so weird seeing that no one else seems to have this problem. Already tried fiddling with the graphics settings (lowering resolution, changing api and the such), deleting the cache and trying again and even downloading another backup in case mine was bad (I have the original disc but no blu ray drive). Does anyone know what the source of the problem might be? Thanks Cool

My specs:
i7 9700k no OC
16GB RAM
RTX 2070 Super

Try installing the MGS4 v2.00 game update, and verify your disc dump using the instructions on our Wiki to make sure it's not corrupted
