I'm still using "PS3UPDAT.PUP 4.81" but recently I noticed that the system update was upgraded and now it's on version 4.85, I've never had any problems with the version I'm using so I see no reason to upgrade.

So my question is, should I stay using "PS3UPDAT.PUP 4.81" or should I upgrade to "PS3UPDAT.PUP 4.85"?

You can stay on 4.81, last firmware updates are not relevant
