Disgaea 3 update random black screen

Disgaea 3 runs perfectly fine except when I update it to the latest version (for trophy support and DLC). When I update it the game sometimes doesn't load the stages and just stays at the black loading screen.

Having the same issue.
Tried changing all the RPCS3 settings and constantly updating to the newer versions of the program in hopes of a fix to no avail.

Hopefully this post will get more attention and a fix for this problem can be found.
