Broken on new mainline builds. I think it happened in the past week or two. Clearing caches doesn't help.

Opened git issue:
https://github.com/RPCS3/rpcs3/issues/4856

New Issues:
1) Freezes frequently on the long, flickering load screen. Always took about a min, now never exits (most of the time).

2) Sometimes it DOES makes it past the loading screen, but will always crash if using Vulcan trying to load gameplay with this:

F {rsx::thread} class std::runtime_error thrown: Assertion Failed! Vulkan API call failed with unrecoverable error: Device lost (Driver crashed with unspecified error or stopped responding and recovered) (VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST) (in file c:\projects\rpcs3\rpcs3\emu\rsx\vk\VKHelpers.h:1083)

3) On OpenGL, if you get past the loading screen, it will usually load gameplay ok but will run at only 2 fps with weird, new glitches like flying pottery and stuff.

Config:
Windows 10 64-bit
GeForce GTX 1080
i7-6700k @ 4GHZ
16GB RAM

I will just move this back to ingame, graphics are too heavily broken still.

RPCS3 v0.0.18-12740-5600430a Alpha

Config:
Windows 10 64-bit
6GB GeForce GTX 1060
i7-6700HQ @ 3.1GHZ
16GB RAM

I was able to play this just fine the first time with minimal issues on default settings besides minor stutters while building the shaders cache, but upon booting it up for the second time, it seems to always freeze on the "Copying Necessary Files" screen. Would be quite pleased to find out a way past this as the game seemed to play pretty flawlessly to me.

Playable

RPCS3 v0.0.21-13331-e33b1306 Alpha | HEAD
AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor | 24 Threads | 15.95 GiB RAM | TSC: 3.700GHz | AVX+ | FMA3
Default GPU: 'NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080'

Main changes from default settings are Legacy Shader mode, Accurate RSX reservation access and Driver wakeup delay set to 200us. These settings reduced desync a lot and enabled me to play continuously for 2 hours or more before fatal error.

Performance is acceptable. I changed Vblank to 120hz to get 60fps and it holds that target most of the time. Shader compiling shutters occurs sometime and dips the frame rate to around 45.

This game, is playable, as far as I'm concerned. Someone with authority needs to verify. I just played for an hour. No graphical glitches, that I know of. I've not played this game on an actual PS3, just this emulator.
Maintained 30fps. Sound was on point. No graphic bugs. I only played an hour, so as far as completing the game. I dunno. But so far to me, it looks perfect.

Here is video of in game footage. It is playable, in my opinion.....
