Getting a crash in the Thesius boss fight; tested in both this title ID and NPEA00256. The error reads differently here though, and it looks like this:

Hello:

I'm getting the exact same error as the user "Snatch" a few posts above, in fact I run into it several times before on older builds but I thought the game wasn't fully compatible yet.
Usually I boot the game (GoW1 or GoW2) and after a second or two it freezes with this error.
This happens on default settings on Vulkan, if I switch to OpenGL the game works perfectly but it's pretty slow (between 10-30fps)
If I switch "Frame Limiter" to "Auto", the game doesn't give me this error in the menu, but if I try to start a new game it freezes on the cinematic or if I try to load a saved game it gives me the same error.
For some reason I read someone enabling "Write Color Buffers", if I enable it, the game runs fine on Vulkan, no hangs no crashes but the frame rate is even lower than OpenGL
I tried playing around with settings, resolution, reinstalling things, everything short of a full system reinstall, that is the only thing I can think of now.
I don't know much about this so I'm hoping someone could tell me what I have wrong or send me in the right direction.
Here are my system specs (just in case):

AMD FX-8350
GTX 970 (EVGA Overclocked)
16GB RAM

pS: Also, after several boots of the game, and switching settings, at some point it started giving me a white screen on boot (I read it's related to pirated copies? Mine is self-dumped from disc). Hitting "Resume" on emulation gets past it, it seems related to the audio somehow, because after that the audio disappeared in game while running on Vulkan (it's in the log).

Although my God of War 1 crashes constantly, often in the character upgrade menu, God of War 2 seems fine.

OpenGL also seems to be more stable, although frame rate is too low, and seems to cause other issues, e.g. enemy archers don't fire arrows on the part where you have to push the crate.

I'm also getting white screen (both GoW 1 and 2) with "F {PPU[0x1000000] Thread (main_thread) [0x00313b0c]} MEM: Access violation reading location 0x4" error. Tried master, zangetsu build, none of them seems to be working.
