It's a fighting game, looks too slow, what's the hardware used? Does it work on Vulkan?
Moving to Ingame.

RPCS3 v0.0.2-5499-9fee2ebeb Alpha
Archlinux i7 4770k, r9 fury, OpenGl, recompilers.
On rev5499, Chaos code works correctly: often 60fps, with drops to 40-50 in certain animations (see screenshot), but it feels like a minor problem.
I'd label this "playable".

Yes, game is playable. (However, read my post update below -- there is an emulation bug with the Options menu that was not there in older builds.)

But, oddly in the Options menu only every other choice can be selected/highlighted. It's very strange. When you press up or down on the dpad it will jump only every other option. For example, you can only select Game Option, Sound Option and How to Play:
  • Game Option  --- can select and works normally
  • Display Option  --- CANNOT SELECT
  • Sound Option --- can select and works normally
  • Button Setting ---CANNOT SELECT
  • How to Play --- can select but will crash the game
  • Exit --- CANNOT SELECT (you can only exit the Options menu by pressing circle button (i.e. B on Xbox controller))
I tried various configs, but nothing changed anything. I also tried with and without the update applied.

Builds tried: rpcs3-v0.0.7-8709-b70c08a2_win64, rpcs3-v0.0.6-8444-112ad9dd_win64

Any thoughts or fixes?

UPDATE: tried an older build, rpcs3-v0.0.5-6956-af71cf09_win64, and the Options menu works normally! So it does seem to be an emulation bug in newer builds.

Hmm, let me try deleting all my caches...

Nope, still the same problem. What are your settings? What is your system? Mine is Windows 10 on i7 6700k and nvidia 1080 16GB RAM.

I feel like I've tried everything and still have this weird issue in the newer builds. Thanks for your feedback.

UPDATE: interesting. So, I just made a fresh rpcs3 setup with the newest build and installed this game. And yep, the options menu works correctly. Now I need to figure out what causes it to break in my other setup.
UPDATE 2: nothing I try fixes it in my main setup. Maybe I should just start fresh and delete my original setup. For all I know it could fix some other random things as well. *sigh*
LAST UPDATE: meh, I give up. Using a new install of rpcs3. No idea what was causing that issue.
