It still doesnt work on the latest build.And the sound is still stuttering.Plus if you dont have a GPU with Vulkan support you cant play it.

In the below mentioned build it loads but gets stuck when you change stages for the first time at the tutorial.
The RPCS3 log is in the attachments .Should i include the TTY , SPUJIT and shader logs?

launched through steam using steam controller as gamepad.
Installed the following .pkg files in teh following order:

RESULTS
1. game loads fine
2. I can get to the char selection etc.
3. i start tutorial. sound immediately dies
4. I finish tutorial. i get black screen of forever.
5. ????

results repeated 20 times to be sure its not random.
however. there were two times that the screen went to perma black just before char menu. after clicking "new data".

Sound thread dies and the game waits forever for a response. Try different combinations of PPU and SPU recompiler and interpreter.

ok another thing

i've been trying in vain to get my original PS3 saves to work with RPCS3.

now i did some research. i need to "decrypt" my saves.

so i got bruteforce save tool.. something i've used in the past to fiddle with my actual ps3 saves and that was fine.. however

When I place the save files in teh correct folder - then I run the tool and "decrrypt all" then exit and keep the decrypted files in place.

game thinks the save is bad and asks if i want to delete teh save and make a new one.

That said. I wonder if this is because I made hte save with a different version of the game.

the original saves come from the PS3 Disc version which is a BLUSxxxxx game, whiel my RPCS3 version is NPUBxxxxxxx,

from my own testing. I can clearly see that the NPUB game makes a BLUSxxxx save folder if you give it an empty save foldler in RPCS3 so i'm assuming the saves should be compatible.

on my ps3 i had the fully patched game and narrator DLC.

with the emu i installed

In 4088+, Dragon's Crown runs really smooth (60 FPS), with Vulkan AND OpenGL, also there's no sound stuttering any more.... but when starting the tutorial i can confirm: the sound thread dies and I get a black screen when the game transitions to the next room.

(specs: Geforce 1060 6 GB, 6700K, 16 GB Ram)

You will have to do a real git bisect for any regression testing to be useful. Once it has been mathematically determined exactly which specific commit broke things maybe open a bug report.

some people saying it broke at 4089 so i dunno. it needs to be tested. but definately march 10th is when it broke according to multiple sources.

i don't know how to cleanly test the different git commits and I couldn't get any of those (4087 4088 4089) versions from appveyor to work for me. I just got CTD or nothing
