Well, support for OpenGL 4.2 is required as of not too long ago (I think about 2-3 months ago).

Is minimum?(4.2 support for running Rpcs3)

Basically yes, but RPCS3 will still run, but if a game uses ANY shaders it will not work. There are probably still homebrews or some really basic games, which don't use shaders.

What about Hard Corps Uprising? This game not work with OpenGL 3.3?I think, this game uses shaders.

Think about it as equivalent of directX 10 vs directX 11. You have good chance of running tetris and They don't die, but in general you're out of luck. It's time for upgrade.

I don't exactly don't know about it. More specifically if the game uses Vertex Program (VP) or Fragment Program (FP) they will fail to compile and link, thus most likely causing errors.

Parallel compilation would be interesting for the different versions of OpenGL 3.3 and OpenGL 3.3+, as the PS2 emulator plugins. Recalling that was possible in previous versions of rpcs3 interpret VP and FP images with OpenGL 3.3, since the hardware of the Playstation 3 is based on NVIDIA G70 thus may not require as current video hardware.

"... thus may not require as current video hardware."

We probably wont have hardware that will run PS3 games OK for another 5 years.
By the time we'll run most PS3, everybody will probably running OpenGL 6 or "OpenGL Next". And considering that OpenGL 4.2 is already quite old - it was released on August 8, 2011. Also often newer version of OpenGL have some new features that we can use to emulate something that was on PS3. Why we moved to OpenGL 4.2 is because it has some new instructions for the Shader Program, which were on PS3 and used by many games. Without those additions that were made in OpenGL 4.2 the developers would spend more time working on custom implementations of these instructions, when they could be working on more important stuff like trying to reverse engineer RSX.

TL;DR: Doing some things in OpenGL 4.2 is easier, takes less time and isn't worth of a custom implementation for older hardware, which most likely wont run any good games anyway.

Ha ha.Its very fun.I wait run ONLY one game on Rpcs3-Hard Corps Uprising.I buy PS3 faster.Once wrote that would require OpenGL 4.2 or higher.I think, PS Vita emu dont require OpenGL 4.2.

Tested on recent master build. Shows very broken menus, and stuck on loading screen.
