For those trying to play this game but running into an issue where the game tries to do some RSX compiling which causes the Vulkan renderer to hang up and crash, I have found a solution for me that has allowed the game to continue running now for 3 hours with no crashing. The before I was running a maximum of like 15 minutes. Here's what I did in my settings that I believe contributed:
CPU:
•enable spu loop detection
GPU:
•enable async with shader interpreter
ADVANCED:
•Enable accurate RSX reservation access,
•enable PPU LLVM accurate vendor and NaNs,
•disable PPU LLVM Java mode handling,
•enable PPU LLVM pre-compilation,
•set your sleep timer accuracy to all timers,
•enable read color buffers,
•and last but not least fiddle with your driver wake up delay. You can read the instructions for that if you hover your mouse over it. I have mine set to 600 and that seems to work for me.
Now my experience with RPCS3 is limited to the various things I've read on forums and fiddling around. So I am not going to guarantee that this will solve that issue for you too, I just wanted to post what worked for me in case it helps anybody else.
