Reliable Modern Build for Demon's Souls? (US)

Hi all, a while ago, I made a thread asking why my game crashed on the load to Boletarian Palace the first time to unseal the archstones, and although I was discouraged, I was renewed with conviction a while ago, and wanted to ask if anybody had a more modern updated version of Demons Souls. I got my download from a video in 2017, and according to the person who replied to my post, it was a very old build, and that my pc was too weak to run it (2013 AMD card, i3 processer) but performance isnt a concern right now, and I just want to test if maybe it was the build I was using.
