There is nowhere mentioned that you need to control the character for it to be ingame

Ingame
Games that go Ingame but have issues that prevents them from being properly Playable.

Intro
Games that only display some screens or/and reach menus but don't reach Ingame.

I can easily reach the ingame in my i5 7300HQ and the game keeps running for 5 minutes after the menus, where the characters are having a dialog with each other.
Is Ryzen to blame or may be your CPU is too fast causing race conditions?
