How Do I Change the Profile Name?

User profile's username is stored on /dev_hdd0/home/userID/localusername

If the game doesn't detect it, it may be using some method that's not implemented

Ah...yeah I saw that file and edited it already. It used to say User but the game reads it as Unknown no matter what is typed in there. It is the only game I've tried that actually shows a character name.

I tried to show you a pic, but as you can see, that is not happening.

I know this is an old post, but I ended up figuring it out. In the RPCS3 menu, click "Manage" at the top. Click "User Accounts". From there you can change your username by clicking "User" and typing whatever you want. Here's my username in game: RPCS3 Username Fix
