I've been testing some new configurations. I'd say the wiki needs some updating. Only 1/3rd the way through but there's been no issue.
Hardware:
Intel i9 11900H clocked to 3.3ghz (8 active cores) to 4.2ghz (1 active core). Stock Nvidia RTX 3060m 6GB. 64GB DDR4. Nvme drives.
Anisotropic Filtering:
Wiki says auto, I set 16x with no issue both in game and as my driver's default for all applications. I have noticed no issues, but I don't no what to look for either.
Res Scale Threshold:
Wiki says use 512x512, or 321 and under and get artifacts. I had it set to 256x256 for some reason for the first chapter and saw no issue. Given 320 is 256+64, I used that number and saw no issue as well. The few situations people described the issue happening, to me I did not notice anything. If I missed it, it was so negligible that the increase in DoF resolution far outweighs whatever issue arises. I have pushed it as low as default 16x16 for a few missions and had no issues so far.
Other settings working fine:
Res scale up to 300% works with little issue, just some additional FPS loss when there's a lot of enemies. Mega SPU blocks increases FPS. Accurate cache line access and SPU DMA are enabled. LoD is set to -1.0. Vulcan queue sch is set to fast. The wiki suggestions of patches and vblank are also set.
Result:
High fidelity visuals, stable, FPS rarely drops below 30.
