PS4 controller working Bluetooth but not wired?

Hi there,
I am having an issue where my controller isn't recognised via micro USB but IS recognised via Bluetooth on the Gamepad settings.
The reason I want to play wired is because my Bluetooth adapter creates massive input delay.
