Maybe it's a bug specific to older CPUs?
I think you need to press X or Enter in the first screen for something to show up, don't remember exactly
You can try three things
First, try verifying your game dump with PS3 Disc Dumper

Second, try booting the .self file for the game directly inside path_to_disc/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/XXXX.self , probably kingdom2.self or something similar
Third, try using both PPU and SPU Decoders on Interpreter (Precise) and see if it works
