I have the buzzers, I'm going to try some stuff with them tomorrow, and see what happens
The wired buzzers work with no problems, the wireless buzzers don't work due to them not connecting to the wireless sensor thingy. Nonetheless, we are now INGAME!
One note though, you need to make sure you connect them BEFORE launching the game - you can't connect them while Buzz is already running. They will only work if connected beforehand.
MAJOR UPDATE: Game freezes about one minute into it every time I run it, enabled and disabled a bunch of different settings to try to fix it, the only settings that had any major impact on the logs were the Network and PSN settings, but the issue still happened with both turned off. I have made a forum post here about the issue.
Edit 2: Reread the rules for intro vs ingame, and we are NOT ingame yet, due to the freezing bug described above.
