The same was happening to me, after disabling multithreaded rsx on the settings the freezes stopped.
I am not sure if it has something to do with ryzen/high core count processors or I wasn't supposed to change that setting at all.

Specs:
Red Dragon RX570 4GB
Ryzen 5 2600
8GB DDR4 - 2666MHz
