Hi,
So I've been playing Tales of Graces F a lot through Geforce Experience with a friend.
Everything works nicely, except:
- The FPS which isn't limited outside of battles, which isn't too big of a deal (makes you run faster outside, which is kinda nice). Also may cause some audio desync, especially during cutscenes. Not game breaking.
- Random freezes that crash the whole game. I wasn't able to pinpoint the exact cause. It happens in OpenGL or Vulkan, more frequently with Vulkan, and it can happen at anytime time. The music will usually shut-off prior to the freeze (the voices will still work). Some areas of the game are freeze-free, while others make the game crashes in a matter of seconds.
I can't say if the freezes are GPU or CPU related, although you can use interpreter (fast) to pass zones that are unplayable otherwise (due to the very frequent freeze), but your FPS will probably drop (mine was 4-6 fps), so use it as your last resort method if you're blocked.
Except the freeze, the game is fully playable. But due to its random nature, and because that's a full crash, I don't recommend it as it's very frustrating to lose 10min+ worth of battle/game in such an unpredictable manner. It's probably something minor to fix, so we just have to be patient and the game will be 100% playable from start to finish.
