Managed to get to the title screen and during loading a new game the game died, I tried to relaunch but it kept dying on different errors.
Must be a race condition, this game is rather random.
Looks like the game needs Strict Rendering Mode to fix the text but due to it's issues i was unable to get to the title screen again to check.
