All default except SPU should be Interpreter(fast).
The game now shows a HEALTH WARNING screen & gets stuck at this point most of the time. Is this considered Intro?

sometimes, the emulator hits the below error, before the HEALTH WARNING is rendered.

Edit:
Was able to go further than the health warning and it started playing some sound. This happens randomly, updated Logs
