I think it's safe to classify this as in-game as of build 0.0.3-6441 [2017-10-12]
The game freezes when I try to select customize skater in the beginning. Getting a preset skater works but the portraits are blank so you can't see how the skater looks like beforehand.
Performance is a bit weird as it fluctuates wildly between 10-60 fps. Also the screenshot below shows the fps counter at 30 but in game it was moving really slow. Like it's moving in slow motion or something. It does this randomly regardless of the fps.
