It's still there. Tested a few days ago.

Seems to finally be in a state that can be played comfortably with the exposure patch applied and resolution scale set to 100%.  It's still brighter than it should be, which can make reading the in world street maps difficult, but still better than anything I've seen thus far.

There are also rendering glitches in reflections of mirrors.

Still looking the same on mine (BCLES_30035). Everything super bright, washed out characters etc. Be nice to play this again when it's all running fine.

Using the latest build the game runs at a pretty stable framerate but it has a weird problem with everything looking green, it's still playable framerate wise, but it has some strange green dimmed lines across, through the entire screen.

Just reduce the value to your desired one in the text section of your patch.yml. for me 0.3 works just fine.
Code:
Lower Exposure:
    Games:
      "The Darkness":
        BLUS30035: [ 01.03 ]
    Author: illusion, Aphelion
    Notes:
    Patch Version: 1.0
    Patch:
      - [ bef32, 0x10AC2F0, 0.6 ] <-- change your value here (for blus)

I set vblank frequency to 120 (the internal resolution setting does not seem to change anything.), so the game runs mostly at 60 fps (RTX 3090, Ryzen 5900X). I have finished the game on RPCS3 Version: 0.0.15 Alpha (THE DARKNESS [BLES00058]), patch 1.03).

Any bugs or crash?

Reflections in the mirror flicker, otherwise I did not notice anything.

Tried out the new lower exposure patch, and whilst it definitely improves the visuals, there is still some graphical glitches going on:

If you can see the brown lines everywhere. That I've not able to get rid of. Tried doing as you said to change the vblank value and tried putting in different values in the patch file, but it has no effect on it. A value between 2 and 4 looked best on my screen.

This games so close to being visually right. Just needs some TLC by the devs to iron out the bugs.

Try Strict Rendering.

The little Glitch with Charlene Warburton in the Metro also appears on RPCS3. Restart Checkpoint.

That did the job. Thank you Smile.

Yay. Games finally playable. Now to find some time to test it out properly.
