Support - God of War audio/cutscene stuttering

Hi! I hope I've put this all in the right place. I'm experiencing really bad stuttering in cutscenes in God of War Collection (specifically GOW I HD). For example, the first cutscene just freezes in place on Kratos' face for a long time, then audio will randomly play. After getting in game, the performance is perfect, it's just in the cutscenes. It also happens during the startup video.

I'm using the latest appimage, also tried the version from the AUR.
I'm on Arch Linux, running a Ryzen 7 7735U, Radeon 680M, 64GB RAM. I'm currently using sway with no XWayland.

I've attached my log files. I've tried a couple things like setting SPU threads to 1, etc, and messed around with buffer/ audio stretching.

Update on this - this doesn't occur on the same system with a flatpak (forgot i had it installed, its from version 0.32). I can try and do some version dissection if that would be helpful to figure out where this started happening - would appreciate some ideas on the best way to do this. Is it possible with appimages or would i have to checkout the commits and rebuild every time?

Another update - this appears to be a regression in version 0.0.33-17061. I've tested the appimages from https://github.com/RPCS3/rpcs3-binaries-linux/. 0.0.33-17055 doesnt have this issue. I can open a proper git issue for this if that's better!
