Hi All,

Apologies for my stupidity, but I've downloaded RPCS3 to play one of my old PS3 games (My PS3 packed up twice and was binned a while back now).

I exceed the min specs, have the latest GPU drivers, RPCS3 version and firmware.

Whatever I try and run (even just the PS3 interface) starts up and runs for about 5 seconds.

RPCS3 then simply closes down, no messages on screen, nothing.

I switched to OPENGL, makes no difference. The logs show my graphics card is compatible.

Tried a few options suggested from videos and forums. but still not getting anywhere.

The game I tried is Little Big Planet, which loads, gets to the screen where it says 'Don't switch off your system when you see this symbol ...'.

The same then happens RPCS3 then simply closes down.

Any ideas where I start?

The SSE2 only mode for ancient CPUs like yours isn't really tested, so it could be that it's regressed
Your CPU is also way too weak for that game
Try to see if simple games like Arkedo Series work

Thanks, I'll give it a go, or looks like I'll be getting a new CPU, M/B and RAM Sad
