Hmmm sure, I don't know how to write that up yet on github. It seems like it's a local problem so far though, since even on AC:fA, other people can launch fine with R/WCB turned on, but on my end it immediately also said 'access violation writing location error' after the first loading screen, right before it actually gets to the in-game tutorial.

I'm thinking it might be some sort of weird permission thing going on? I've tried launching as Administrator but it didn't help either.

I would like to declare this game playable now. I have completed several (5) missions and had 0 issues completing them. I've not noticed any Graphics issues and only minor Audio issues.

Great work to the RPCS3 team over the last couple of years. it's been almost 3 years since i last tried playing this game on RPCS3. I'm going to need all the practice i can get for when AC6 comes out.

i have:
AMD 5950x
Nvidia RTX 3090

running the game never used more then a couple of cores (2-3) and my GPU was only utilizing about 25-38 percent.

Wiki recommended settings applied. Vsync enabled. Resolution scale set to 2560x1440. All other settings are default.

Tested with Vulkan.
The only notable issues I’ve come across after ~10 hours of playtime are brief framerate drops to the low 30s at absolute lowest during intense action. I remember emblems and decals had issues not displaying correctly, but I have not encountered that recently so I believe it may have been fixed. Aside from that, the game seems to work totally fine from beginning to end with perfectly playable performance.
Status: Playable

This thing is like a wolf.
This thing is a wolf.
Thus, it is a thing to be banished.
