How to play Super Rub-a-Dub?

Is this game only playable with a Six-axis controller? I'd like to know if there is a way to play it with a KB and Mouse.

If it requires Sixaxis then only a PS3/4/5 controller can be used to play it at the moment, or whatever controllers expose gyro support to Evdev on linux
