Guitar Controller Setup

I been trying to setup the guitar controller to do the tilting to activate star power instead of having to press the ' Select ' Button, is there a way to get this to work, I been trying to figure it out for 2 days before I came here and just can't figure out how to get it working, I'm open to any ideas
