I am still not sure what you are doing that I am not.  No matter what I do I get "SIG: Thread terminated due to fatal error: Unknown stencil op 0x6" after completing the tutorial."  Is the only way to bypass this to load a save game that is past this point?

Try and get RSX captures when playing the game, posting this on the github page might help get the textures fixed.
Would you mind helping a homie out and explaining how to do either of those?

I cant remember exactly how to do it, but i recommend asking in the discord server. I believe you do captures in game using a hotkey or something. You could also try and find the button on the top bar when in game.

RPCS3 v0.0.13-11347-3a0b3a85 Alpha | HEAD | FW 4.87 | Windows 10 2004
Intel Core i5-9600K | 6 Threads | 31.93 GiB RAM | TSC: 3.696GHz | AVX+ | FMA3 | TSX-FA
GPU: GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER (457.51)

Settings that must be set for this to boot from standard Default Config:
GPU-> Framelimit=30

To fix textures, the following must be set:
GPU->Write Color Buffers= Enabled
Advanced->Read Depth Buffers= Enabled
Advanced->Write Depth Buffers= Enabled
Advanced->Read Color Buffers= Enabled

With those set, this game is 100% playable.  Rock solid 30fps, some texture glitches on your AC, no crashes encountered thus far.  I'm playing through the main campaign, and thus far, there have been no blocking issues thus far.
Recommend this be moved from InGame to Playable.

You can see in the below screenshots for a few of them to show how the textures break.  It's easy to reproduce the breakage: Swap a weapon out on your AC.  Next mission, broken textures.  Mission after that (if you don't change anything), the AC renders fine.

Added an issue to track the incorrect textures on github:

Okay, Every mission is fully playable, except for one.
[Image: kSBsbV9.png]

Marche Au Supplice always crashes for me on load (after mission briefing) with a null dereference. I'll create a bug for it. But you can skip the mission and just play Bitter Obligation to complete the game.

I have gotten 2-3 crashes (deadlock they appear) during cutscenes. If you save after every mission, you should be able to progress (retry the cutscene or just skip it).
Took me about 10 hours to play through from start to finish.

Created a bug to track the deadlock during cutscenes

You will sometimes crash after successfully fighting a simulator battle.

Hey, there, I can't seem to save the log file, but I keep getting this error at Chapter 3, no matter what mission I pick.

F {PPU[0x100002c] Thread (Ac4SortieScene) [0x000f7704]} VM: Access violation writing location 0x27bbbebb (unmapped memory) [type=u32]

I can do everything else (Simulations, Tests, etc) and I've tried the above settings as well as build RPCS3 v0.0.13-11347-3a0b3a85 (although I was using 60FPS and build 11380 no problem up until this point), and this crash has only happened at this point.

Regarding the log file, whenever I try to access it it gives me the error The Process cannot Access the File because it is being used by another process

Managed to get the log file now, there are a lot of errors that I noticed popping up before but didn't mind them cause it didn't crash or anything except if I played for too long sometimes. This log is from build RPCS3 v0.0.13-11347-3a0b3a85. Included some screenshots. The in-game Screenshot is that it just freezes on the loading screen. I reduced it to 30FPS limit hoping something might happen, but it happens both on 30FPS and 60FPS, and I was playing on 60FPS for most of my time.

Can you upload the save so I can load to the exact same spot and see if I crash too?

This should be it, found it in RCPS3\dev_hdd0\home\00000001\savedata

Yup, that save crashes me as well. I tried swapping out the parts on the AC, but no dice on getting anything to load.

Huh, I guess I'll try a fresh save. That's 2 hours of work down the drain but oh well.

Looks like it was a save data thing, managed to get through Chapter 3 missions no problem on a fresh save.

I'm getting deadlock errors every now and then but nothing that impedes progress.

Nevermind, the access violation writing location error seems to be back, now on the last mission of Chapter 4. I even put several different save files on rotation to go back, and the earliest one I can go back to can't access the mission either. Really weird.

Update: I disabled Read/Write Color Buffer

This let me get through Chapter 4's final mission no problem. This is a bit odd though, as other people have gone through the game without having to disable those, any ideas?

Using your broken save, can confirm that disabling R/WCB allowed the missions to play, enabling them caused the crash. You found the reproduction, and it's your save if you want to put it up as an issue on github, or else I can do it and credit you tomorrow :-)

If I had to guess, also, that the mission called out above really *isn't* broken, but rather whatever badness is linked to the save+R/WCB caused that mission to zonk out in that save. So, a healthy dose of luck if you play through with R/WCB enabled.
