Ryzen 3600. Does it perform well in this emulator ?

Honestly, I want to build Intel as it seems to run this emu better but atm the 3600 is half the f*cking price as a similar proc from Intel.

The Ryzens value got me thinking about good processors in the past. I remember building many PCs Xeon 1231v3 for people. Apparently this processor also supports TSX. Did I just rediscover a budget powerhouse for RPCS3 ?

It's impossible for AMD CPUs to support TSX because that's an Intel extension, lol
AMD never implemented ASF, so there's nothing similar on their side

R5 3600 falls under recommended CPUs, so it's good yes

I was talking about the Xeon 1231v3. Its basically a slightly slower 4790k but its usually around 70$ (Sometimes cheaper) on ebay.

Yes, it may support TSX, I'm not sure, but note that's Haswell, and you may need to install older microcode if you want to use TSX (which I don't recommend, because you're opening yourself to security flaws)
