With a build RPCS3 v0.0.7-9250-e54438d3 Alpha [2019-12-24]game appears to be perfectly playable:
- I have not seen it drop below 27FPS even during heavier scenes.
- Audio is mostly flawless, tends to drop when there seems to be a lot going on screen, especially during drive-bys and car chases. It does not get bad enough to get annoying, however.
- Reflections flicker, but it is not really distracting. I have not observed any missing or corrupted visuals otherwise.
- I have not observed a single freeze (other than shader compilations) nor a crash during the entirety of my playthrough.
Important note - game requires Sixaxis - game can mostly be played without it, but so far I encountered one blocker where I could not figure out how to progress without actually performing the motion control. Those scenes are:
- First tutorial mission - forced motion movement can be skipped by pressing L3+R3 instead.
- Second tutorial mission - forced motion movement can be skipped by dragging the person to the grave, thus skipping the entire tutorial section.
- Later storyline mission - player is forced to throw somebody off the ledge by moving Sixaxis forwards, and as far as I can tell this action cannot be performed without motion controls.
Known issues:
- The game has trouble recognizing the controller on startup and will show a "Please reconnect SIXAXIS™ wireless controller" message as it gets to the main menu. This can be worked around by going to Pads config, selecting one of disconnected pads in Device dropdown, saving, then going back and selecting a proper device again. This tricks the game into thinking that gamepad has been disconnected and reconnected again, and it allows to proceed gracefully.

Yes the performance and audio are pretty much on par with the original hardware. The game is capped to 30 fps. A 60 fps mod would be nice.
The flickering can be distracting to me, but it certainly doesn't make the game unplayable. The previous visual glitches I posted on last year are all gone.
For the controls, it was only possible to play the game via Xinput back in 2018. Now the game will play with the PS4 controller and motion controls will work. At the start you don't have to go into the pad settings.
Just turn on the controller before you boot the game. Once the game has booted turn off the controller. When the message pops up to connect the controller turn it back on.
The game being marked as playable is accurate. This will probably run well on older CPUs (at least Intel LGA1366), so long as they have at least 6 cores and run at 4Ghz.
I thought all the motion controls have standard buttons assigned to them or movement on the sticks? It was a loooong time ago i played so I may be misrembering.
What build works best for this or configuration, I am using build 0.0.7-9251 and the intro video is slow and the audio is choppy. I am getting 30fps through out

That's what I thought, but I can't find a movement/button equivalent to pushing somebody off the ledge, and this motion is required to progress through the story.
I can confirm that the game is now Playable on all versions. Things what we can see is flashing a texture screens, less FPS, but these problems aren't a trouble, the game doesn't crash anymore after playing from 30 to 50 min max, what means: Game is finally Playable. Tested on latest RPCS3 version.
Intel Core-I3 8100 3.60GHZ 4 cores
8GB RAM DDR4
Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB
Windows 10 Home 64bit

Conclusion: The game works fine.
Hey I Can't Throw Someone Off The Ledge..! Will It Possible Without A DS4 Controller. I Don't Have A Controller That Supports Motion Control

Sorry, but this is impossible to hit someone on a wall or throw someone off the ledge without DS3 or DS4 controller, cuz standard controllers and joystics doesn't have Motion Control support.
I get this Vulkan error very often that causes the game to completely freeze and crash.
I've got the latest drivers.
